The Fricchone Center, a child development center, built in 1991, is a great place for kid to learn and grow. It is open to the children of Marywood's staff, faculty and students, as well as the children of employees from the Marian Convent and St. Joseph's Center. Other children may be enrolled if space permits. The purpose of the center is to provide quality child care to those who wish to pursue career, personal or educational goals. It is founded on the belief that children learn through interaction with other children and adults. The program strives to meet the developmental need of each child within a multi-age group setting. Experiences are provided to enhance the cognitive, affective and physical development of each child The Fricchione Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. |
