Career
Services
The Office
of Career Services is available to alumni as well
as current students. Services available include career
counseling, workshops, testing, a computerized career
guidance program, and the career library. The office
receives notice of full-time job openings. The Career
Services Office also provides access to JOBTRACK, an
Internet link to over 250,000 jobs.
The Career Network program was established by the Alumni
Office as a means of assisting graduates seeking information
on employment possibilities in a given career field and/or
geographic location. Currently, over 2,600 alumni have
registered with the Career Network.. This service can be of
special help to alumni who consider changing direction at
any point during their careers. Although it is possible that
a contact within the network can provide job openings, this
is not the purpose of the program. Rather, the Career
Network was established to provide support and information
about career realities in a chosen field.
To become a member of the career network, check the
appropriate question on the alumni
update form or contact the Alumni Office via FAX
(570) 961-4747; phone at (570) 348-6206 or e-mail the office
at alumni@marywood.edu.
If you are interested in requesting a contact list of career
network volunteers in your geographic area, your major, or
the job field that interests you, complete the career
network form, or contact the Alumni Office at the above
numbers or e-mail, and we will send you a list of fellow
alumni there who may be able to help.
