Policy Statement
The University provides several different health insurance options
for full-time employees under the flexible benefits plan. Several
options are available.
Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance coverage on the
first of the month following the first day of work. The University and the employee share the cost for the premiums.
Employees may waive health insurance coverage in writing and receive
flex credits in lieu of coverage.
Priests and Sisters serving at the University are usually covered
under diocesan and congregational plans.
Procedures
