Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees

Policy Statement

The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees is held in the second quarter of the calendar year on the premises of Marywood University. It serves to fulfill the Board's legal responsibility, specified in the Bylaws and corporation law, regarding the annual meeting of the Marywood University Corporation. Further, it provides an opportunity for the Members of the Corporation and the Board of Trustees to address matters of mutual concern or interest. The agenda includes

discussion of mission and sponsorship;

reporting on the state, including financial health, of Marywood University;

nomination of persons for trusteeship;

election of Board officers for the next year;

and other ordinary business of the Board.
