Welcome to the web site of the Marywood University
Policies and Procedures Manual. This site is maintained by the
Secretary of the University.
From here, you can link to the Introduction
to the manual, which describes its purpose and scope, identifies
responsibilities, outlines its organization, and states the authority
by which it came about.
In the Table of
Contents you will find individual sections, generally
but not necessarily reflective of the major organizational divisions
of the University. Included in the Table of Contents are links to
current new and revised policies. A policy in the table may not link
to a document. In that case, the title will be linked in the future
when the policy is mounted in this electronic version of the
manual.
Policies may also be referenced through the Index.
At the time of this writing, the Index is an alphabetical table
of contents; i.e., it only contains titles of policies and sections.
At a later date, in order to achieve its maximum usefulness, the
Index will be expanded to include other pertinent references in the
text of the manual.
Policy
Development, Approval, and Dissemination describes the
process by which policies come about at Marywood University.
Policy Format
illustrates the standard, yet flexible, format that has been
adopted to ensure consistency from one written policy to another.
It is hoped that this electronic version of the Marywood
University Policies and Procedures Manual will be a useful
information source for you. Your comments, suggestions, and questions
