Instructional Technology Services

Scheduling equipment from I-Tech. Services is easy. 

 Simply call extension 6271 or 2429 and our staff will assist you.

 

Policies & Procedures

1.Please Do not email your requests to the I-Tech. staff. Due to massive amount of e-mails received everyday we will not accept or guarantee any reservations done by e-mail.

2.  All requests for equipment or services MUST be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. If the your event falls on a Monday, your reservation should be made before the end of office hours on Friday.

Equipment is reserved on a first come first serve basis.  Requests for same day services will be processed only if time and resources allow.

3. I. Tech. Services has a very limited supply of equipment available.  Please, help us to help you and your colleagues by booking only what you really need and for when you really need it.  Blanket bookings for items “just in case” prevent others from using very scarce I-Tech. Services equipment and facilities.

4. I- Tech. Services will not deliver small items to classrooms (e.g., digital cameras, cassette players, speakerphones, etc.) because of the high possibility of theft of these items.  Faculty wishing to borrow these items is asked to reserve them a minimum of 24 hours in advance, and to pick them up at the I-Tech. Desk in the LRC/ Media Center.

5. You should know in advance how to operate the equipment requested. Our staff may not be available to assist you during your classroom hours. However, you are more than welcome to make an appointment with a member of our staff to learn how to operate the equipment prior to using it in a classroom environment.

6.  I- Tech. Services equipment is available for class related projects by students with a written authorization from a faculty or administrative staff member. Loan period is 24 Hour. Exceptions will be considered if student has written faculty support and it has been approved by I- Tech Coordinator Kathy Lewis.

7.  The equipment is your responsibility while it is in your custody. Please do not leave equipment unattended. Should your needs change once a delivery is scheduled, please call back and let us know so the equipment will not be delivered and left unattended.
