Marywood University Library Subject Liaisons Library Faculty Directory Marywood University Library liaisons promote communication between the library and its users. Each academic department has been assigned a liaison librarian to work collaboratively with faculty to develop library collections, to assist with research and curricular needs, and to answer questions regarding library service, policies and procedures. We seek your input as we develop our selection guidelines for materials and design library instruction to support your research and curriculum. What we can do for you: Inform faculty, students, and staff about the library's holdings and services Refer you to resources that can answer your questions Prepare printed and/or electronic library guides Teach you how to use various electronic media Advise you where and how to identify materials relevant to your teaching or research Purchase materials upon your recommendation Attend departmental meetings to discuss library resources for your discipline Gather information from the university community about constituents' needs and concerns  What you can do for us: Recommend purchase of materials Invite us into your classroom or arrange for a class session in the library related to your course requirements Collaborate with us when preparing library related assignments Ask us to participate in a departmental meeting devoted to library issues Tell us if you have any library related concerns Please feel free to contact your liaison at any time for information or for assistance in using the library.
