A digital library of approximately 550,000 images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences with a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and teaching.

Includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals. Search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender.

Book Collection: Nonfiction(EBSCOhost) Some Full Text[Off-campus Access]
A rich research database for school and public libraries. It contains informative abstracts and searchable full text for more than 3,500 popular nonfiction books. It includes full text entries on core subject areas, as well as information on careers, health, sports, adventure, technology, life skills and more.

Published by the American Library Association, Booklist online offers a selection of reviews for children and young adults, bibliographies (including editors' annual choices), interviews with authors, and more. Full indexes of book reviews are also available for each volume.

A free Web service that provides access to quality controlled Open Access Journals. You can browse journal titles by subject; browse article titles and select the full text articles to read. Use the search field to search journals included in DOAJ. At the moment you can not search for articles, just for information about journals.

Google Scholar
Provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles. From off-campus sites, go to Google Scholar Preference page, and search for Marywood University. Then check the Marywood University box. You will be asked for your Marywood email login to get access to articles that are part of Marywood's collection.

Free Internet Database. Stanford University Libraries' HighWire Press offers full-text access to nearly 300 highly cited journals, plus simultaneous, searchable access to all of MEDLINE. HighWire Press is the world's largest archive of free, peer-reviewed, full-text life sciences research with over 380,000 free full-text articles. The journals HighWire supports focus on science, technology, and medicine.

Provides records related to literature, languages, linguistics and folklore. Includes citations for journals, books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations and bibliographies dating back to 1963. Most commonly used for finding essays of criticism on literary works.
