Here is a quick reference guide to some of the most popular types of advertising and how they can work for you. The list gives a brief description on how to do it and who on campus it might reach. If you have any questions about advertising -- further clarification or assistance reviewing new ideas -- please see a member of the Center for Student Activities and Leadership Development, located in the Nazareth Student Center.

Be creative!!!
Please take down ALL your advertisements after the event. Your organization will have funding withdrawn from its account for every ad not taken down within forty-eight (48) hours of an event.

The Marywood University Messenger provides University students, faculty, and staff with current information on a variety of campus community events and schedules, including campus and club events, meetings, career information, department notes, sports, volunteer opportunities and much more. New issues are published every Monday and Thursday during the academic year and Mondays only when students are not in session.
You can submit items for the Messenger online.

On the campus web site there a calendar that posts all events happening around campus. If you would like to add your event, please contact the area you would like to have your event posted with.
Everyone has to eat!! Make table tents and put them on each table in the eateries on campus.
Get the word out to the students by doing an all student mailing. All submissions must be sent to jakolcharno@marywood.edu by 9am every Monday morning.
Advertise your event by using chalk to write on the many sidewalks on campus. This method will get the attention of students, administration, faculty and staff members, and even the community!
Hang posters/flyers advertising your event in on campus bulletin boards to attract students, Faculty administration and staff and any other community member visiting campus to your event. All posers/flyers must be approved and stamped by the Center for Student Activities and Leadership Development.
If you have a friend who happens to be a DJ have them make announcements about your event or just contact a member of the WVMW-FM staff with your event's key information and see what they can do for you. Make sure you take note of their restrictions.
