This is a new club sport formed this academic year due to student interest. It allows individuals to learn basic box techniques both for fitness and for pre-competitive pursuits. An off campus ring is utilized for practice and training. Team members must be in good academic standing.

The squad cheers at all home basketball games and several select away games for both men´s and women´s sports. Cheers include bench and on-court activities as well as half-time dance routines. Tryouts occur each fall and are open to all students. Team members must in good academic standing.

Marywood University offers students the opportunity to participate in Co-Ed golf club for recreational and competitive purposes. The club meets at the beginning of each semester to determine the focus and direction of the club. Individuals who participate are exposed to golf in several areas including but not limited to: swing mechanics, rules and etiquette, and in some cases, competitive venues against other university club programs. Team members must be in good academic standing.

The club sport is re-established yearly based on the interest of students and staff. This club allows students and staff the opportunity to play ice hockey in a local ice hockey rink. It also allows individuals to learn the skills of ice skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting. This club meets a few times during the fall semester to get organized for the winter semester. In the winter, there is an ice hockey league that is available for a minimum of 10 players. The league has approximately 8 adult teams that are from the local area. Team members must be in good academic standing.

The Pep Band performs at several Men´s and Women´s basketball games. They perform a variety of musical selections before, during and after games. Approximately 8-10 students currently make-up the Pep Band. Participation is open to all students. We will evaluate the interest and commitment to the Pep Band on an annual basis. Team members must be in good academic standing.

The club meets at the beginning of each semester, with student interest determining the goals and direction of the club. The swim club is a great opportunity to continue or develop swimming skills and conditioning, as well as to meet fellow swimmers. Team members must be in good academic standing.

The club is excited that women´s Lacrosse will be an NCAA sponsored varsity sport in 2007-08. This spring semester the club sport will engage in scrimmages and practices two to three times a week. The level of experience varies but hard working, athletic students are welcome. Team members must be in good academic standing.
