Robert J. Mellow Center for Athletics and Wellness
The Robert J. Mellow Center for Athletics and Wellness opened in the Fall of 2006. It addresses the physical education needs and expectations of our growing student population, providing clinical space for our burgeoning health research programs, and opening further our doors and our hearts to the needs of our regional community. The features include:
- 1500 seat Insalaco Arena (2,500 seats for events)
- 5,000 square foot Fitness Center
- Elevated, banked jogging track overlooking the arena floor
- Climbing Wall for strength and balance conditioning
- Dance and Aerobics Studio
- 2 separate athletic team locker rooms
- Student locker rooms with 135 lockers
- Athletic Training Room, with Training Lab
- Student Recreation Lounge
- Hydro Therapy Room
- Student Athletic Advisory Committee Conference Room
