HR Innovation Lead
Jim Yauger has a diverse background combining experience in the fields of human resources, higher education, customer service, entrepreneurship, military culture, and training and development. As the HR Innovation Lead at VetAdvisor Services, Jim provides direction in regard to Veteran-centric HR questions and Student Veteran initiatives. He is also responsible for developing and executing training for new hires within the company. Jim serves as the Vice President of the Westmoreland Human Resources Association, is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is currently working towards obtaining his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification this year.
Jim is an Army Veteran having served for three years as an infantryman with a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hill University in Business, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Human Resources. He has focused his efforts over the past five years on improving the transitional environment for fellow service members through developing innovative programs and services that assist Veterans and by educating others in regard to military culture and the obstacles that today’s Veterans are facing.
