WORKSHOPS

Free computer workshops are provided by Computer Training and User Support for Marywood faculty, staff and students in order to familiarize users with the applications we support. These workshops are delivered in our training alcove, located on the third floor of the Learning Resources Center.

Our trainers design and deliver all of the material for these workshops. Each is an expert in Microsoft Office, e-mail, the Web, desktop publishing, statistical packages, and Administrative Computing. If a workshop does not cover a needed area, or if they are not offered at convenient times, one-on-one training is available at the request of the user. Specialized departmental trainings are another option. Prior consultation is required.

Marywood University feels very strongly about the development of technology skills for all--regardless of your area of interest or position. To make your experiences stress-free and productive, your best guarantee is to attend as many of these workshops as possible.

You can find a copy of the current workshop calendar on display around campus. You can also view it via the link above. Sign up for a session in one of the following ways: visit our offices in person--on the third floor of the Learning Resources Center; e-mail one of our staff members; or call us at extension 6215.

Specifically, Computer Training and User Support offers beginning and advanced workshops in the following applications:
