Services of the Career Services Office are available to students and alumni at any stage on their career path. The staff assists students in making informed career choices, facilitates the transition from school to the world of work, and assists with preparation regarding future study, such as graduate school.
Career counseling, workshops, testing, and web-based career guidance programs, Focus 2, are tools the Career Services team utilizes to assist students and alumni. The Career Services web page and College Central Network provides information about specific services available, along with assistance in the job and/or internship search. The office also holds audiovisual and printed materials on occupations, the job search, and choosing a major. In addition, Career Services hosts recruiters on campus to conduct job/internship interviews. All students and alumni have the opportunity to attend on-campus and virtual Employment Fairs, as well as severalregional employment/internship fairs hosted by the Northeast PA Employment Consortium (NPEC). Students are encouraged to use the services of the department early in their college years and throughout their career.
