The Marywood University School of Social Work MSW Program is the leading provider of MSW education in Northeast Pennsylvania. Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, the School prepares students for culturally-competent, ethical, inter-professional practice with individuals, families, groups, organization, and communities. Offering a blend of traditional, online, and hybrid courses, as well as a full range of field education experiences, our graduates embark on rewarding careers in behavioral health, gerontology, children and family services, developmental disabilities, administration, and health care.

Child Welfare Education for Leadership

Marywood is proud to be one of twelve colleges in the state that participate in the Child Welfare Education for Leadership (CWEL) program, which is "designed to strengthen public child welfare services in Pennsylvania by providing educational opportunities at the graduate level for public child welfare personnel." If you work at a county child welfare agency, you may be eligible for tuition reimbursement through the CWEL program.
