Marywood University's School of Social Work and Administrative Studies is the leading provider of social work education in Northeast Pennsylvania, having educated more than 4,000 social workers since 1969. Our program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
We offer flexible scheduling and a welcoming learning environment, which are responsive to beginning, career changing, and mid-career social work students.
Our MSW program is offered at four different locations on a full- or part-time basis. The part-time program is designed for students with full-time employment.
Our Bachelor of Social Work program combines a liberal arts curriculum with courses in social-behavioral science and professional social work.
Marywood offers master's degrees in public administration, health services administration, and gerontology.
We also offer a social work specialization in Marywood's interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Human Development.
