Phi alpha Theta/Pi Gamma Mu Induction Ceremony

The Social Science Department of Marywood University hosted its Fall Induction ceremony for its two international honor societies Phi Alpha Theta and Pi Gamma Mu on November 1, 2013.

Marywood's Iota Sigma chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the History honor society, is proud to announce that it has eight new members joining its ranks: Brooke Beppler, Justin Collins (Spring 2013), Sarah Elizabeth Flannery, Kate Anne Gaffney, Aaron Ghent (Spring 2013), Paige Morrison, Katherine Perfilio, and Rebecca Schwalb (Spring 2013).  The Pennsylvania Alpha Eta chapter of Pi Gamma Mu, the Social Sciences honor society, welcomes its 19 new members:  Elizabeth Theresa Bruinix, Kaitlin Ann Caldwell, Erica Lynn Chaplin, Tyler Doherty, Sarah Elizabeth Flannery, Shari Lynn Garber-Landy, Alexa Rae Glenn, Christina Marie Grippo, Breannah Morgan Jones, Katherine Nicole King, Victoria Mary Lance, Kristen Elizabeth McAndrew, Richard Edmond Russell, Kenia Sedano, Adriana C. Serpico, Chelsea Sheehan, Michele Wadud, Aaron Joseph Yarosh, Gaetano J. Zarra, III (Spring 2013).  The keynote speaker was Dr. Samantha Christiansen, Assistant Professor of History, Social Sciences Department.
