Jonathan Christiansen received his M.A. in Sociology from Boston College after receiving his BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado. He has published about the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) and its relationship to the anarchist movement, and about international service trips how they influence social activism among college students. His areas of interest include social movements, labor, and community sociology. He has taught and lectured in courses at Independent University Bangladesh, Tufts University, and Northeastern University. In addition to teaching, Jonathan also works as a Research and Evaluation Analyst at a non-profit education research center. In the past he has also worked as a community and tenant organizer.
