Meet Marywood's Social Media Street Team
Our Street Team is a group of tech-savvy Marywood students who share their experiences (both on-campus and off) online in tweets, photos, videos, and more. Meet them here and then find them on Twitter and Instagram.
Aloha! I'm a communications/journalism major. I enjoy Turkey Hill Iced Tea, getting caught in the sun, and long walks on the treadmill. I am a huge Notre Dame fan. I watch way too much television and have been a dancer for 15 years. I am sports editor for The Wood Word and I also work for Marywood's TV station, TVM. I love social media because it allows me to create connections I never dreamed would be possible. I hope one day to make it on Saturday Night Live, but, if that doesn't work out, I'll settle for the Today Show.
I'm a dietetics major. I devote most of my time to schoolwork, but I also enjoy partaking in activities sponsored by the Student Activities Crew and Student Dietetics Association. I'm also a fan of volunteering, exercising, and singing. I like social media because it gives people an easy, instant way to keep in touch and receive updates. In today's world, it is of utmost importance to stay connected because of the active lifestyles people lead.
Howdy, guys! I'm currently a junior English major with a double minor in music and history. I'm obsessed with Hello Kitty, Coca-Cola, and online shopping. I spend entirely too much time on campus running around serenading strangers with my renditions of Maroon 5 songs. I hope to one day become a college English professor, but if all that falls through, opening up a diner doesn't sound like all that bad of an idea.
I'm a freshman photography major. I love to play soccer and I love to go ice skating. When I'm not cleaning my room frantically or dancing around, I love to hang out with my friends, especially when it involves shopping! My hopes for the future involve running my own photography studio or traveling around the world for National Geographic. I look forward to entertaining Marywood-lovers and inspiring other students to take part in activities. Most importantly, I hope to give you a good laugh or smile through social media.
