Housing & Residence Life: Woodland Residences Application

Woodland Residences Applications

Eligibility

To be eligible to live in the Woodland Residences during the first round of applications, each student must:

  • Have a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA
  • Have already earned 30 credit hours (does not include hours in progress)
  • Be in good judicial conduct standing, including not being on probation and having sanctions completed; prior incidents may be considered in the selection process.
  • Submit applications by the deadline.

Selection Process:

  • All applicants within each group must sign the application form and must be eligible to live in the Woodland Residences.
  • First priority will be for students who apply to return through the Room Encore Process and who can fill the residence with eligible students.
  • Next, other groups of applicants who can fill all the spaces within the residence with eligible students will be placed. This process will continue until all residences are filled. Applicants will use the Woodlands Residence application.
  • If there are more qualified applicants than there are available spaces, then the number of credit hours already earned within each group will be totaled.  The group with the highest number of credit hours will be placed first.
  • For the 10 person occupancy units only, students can apply in smaller groups.  If space is available, the Housing and Residence Life staff will consolidate the groups and offer them places in the Woodland Residences. Applicants will use the Partial Woodlands forms.
  • If all spaces are not filled during the initial application process, additional rounds may be offered and different criteria will be announced.
  • Approved students who have turned in all paperwork by March 13 will attend Room Selection to select their specific residence.
