Submit an Exempt Request

All applications for exempt review must be submitted electronically through IRBNet. Failure to follow procedures will delay review of your application.

1. Register on IRBNet: Go to www.irbnet.org and click on "New User Registration." Be sure to affiliate with Marywood University.  Video Demonstration are available to show you how to use IRBNet.  These demonstration coordinate with sections of IRBNet Instructions for Researchers. Please email research@marywood.edu or call 570-961-4778 for the required password.
2. Download all necessary forms and templates
3. Submit Your Application Package: Follow the Research Submission Instructions to submit your Exemption Request Application and other relevant materials to the ERC.
4. Monitor your e-mail: The ERC will e-mail you about the status of your application.
