I believe that it is extremely beneficial to choose a research topic that is of personal interest to the researcher. Being invested in a topic not only makes the research process more enjoyable, but it also fosters a result that is more meaningful because the work was completed with genuine curiosity and purpose.

Student Conference and Research Project Funding
Marywood University provides opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to apply for reimbursement of conference attendance and associated travel expenses. Graduate students may also apply for funding that may reimburse research projects expenses.
Students are encouraged to discuss possible departmental funding with their faculty advisor or college dean.
