Participating in the Undergraduate Research forum in Harrisburg was a great opportunity to further develop my research and technical skills that I had acquired over the years as an undergraduate student. It gave me the opportunity to network and collaborate with other students that shared my interest in research. With the support of Dr. Brian Monahan, we were able to identify an issue, conduct extended research and present our findings to an audience, including Senator, John Blake.

Student Conference and Research Project Funding
Marywood University provides opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to apply for reimbursement of conference attendance and associated travel expenses. Graduate students may also apply for funding that may reimburse research projects expenses.
Students are encouraged to discuss possible departmental funding with their faculty advisor or college dean.
Research and Conference
The Biology Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) offers annual travel grants for undergraduate students presenting original research results at a regional or national, discipline-specific meeting.
The Social Science Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) offers a limited number of travel grants for undergraduate students presenting the results of research that they have conducted at a regional or national, discipline-specific meeting.
