Marywood's chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa promotes excellence in research, learning, teaching, and publication in the area of religious study. As a member, you can:
- Develop lasting friendships with other religious studies students
- Honor others for their academic achievements

Membership Requirements
- Junior or senior standing
- Overall Q.P.A. of 3.0
- Q.P.A. of 3.5 in religious studies
- Completion of 12 credits in religious studies
- Declaration of intent to major or minor in religious studies
- Ranking within the top 35% of your class
Benefits
- Enter federal service at GS-7 level, rather than GS-5
- Journal of Theta Alpha Kappa, delivered bi-annually in the spring and fall
