Minor in Religious Studies

A minor in religious studies is an excellent introduction to Christianity and Judaism, as well as other religious traditions. It's a perfect compliment to a variety of majors, like psychology, music, social work, and education.  A minor in Religious Studies can be combined effectively with a major in many other fields such as philosophy, psychology, education, music, social work, history, etc.

A minor in religious studies requires 18 credit hours. We recommend the following courses:

  • RST 112 Modern Belief
  • RST 340 Seminar: Religion and Education or RST 442 Seminar: Church Ministry
  • Twelve credits of electives in Religious Studies
