Articulation Agreement between Marywood’s MPA Program and ESU
Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D., President of Marywood University and Dr. Marcia Welsh, President of East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania signed an articulation agreement between Marywood University’s Master of Public Administration program (MPA) and East Stroudsburg University’s MS in Management and Leadership and MS in Public Administration programs.
As of Fall 2018 and according to the agreement students who are enrolled at Marywood’s MPA program can take the following in-class (Non-Online) courses at ESU and counted toward their degree: POLS 514: Seminar on Local Government; POLS 529: International Political Economy; POLS 540: Comparative Politics; and POLS 548: The Politics of Developing Countries.
At the same time students who are enrolled at ESU’s MS in Management and Leadership and MS in Public Administration programs can take the following Online MPA courses at Marywood University and counted toward their degree: PADM 507: Ethics; PADM 509: Introduction to Nonprofit Organization; PADM 513: Introduction to Homeland Security; and PADM 522: Information Technology, Security and Risk Management.
We hope this agreement will increase academic relations between the two universities and serve as a model for further cooperation, shared experts and resources and mutual interests.
