Extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. Recipient of many awards, including from Marywood University, Pi Alpha Alpha, and the American Political Science Association (APSA). Author of numerous books, book chapeters, and journal articles. Editor of various journal symposiums. Member of the board of directors at several nonprofit agencies. Also an artist and a poet.

Complexity and systems studies, Middle Eastern studies, foreign policy and national security studies, public policy analysis, political philosophy.
