Counseling Program Earns 8-Year Reaccreditation!!!

The Board of Directors of the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) met January 11-13, 2018, for the purpose of making accreditation decisions. Both the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.A.) and School Counseling (M.S.) programs, housed in the College of Health and Human Services at Marywood University, were reviewed under the 2009 CACREP Standards and accredited for an 8-year period through October 31, 2025.

Clinical Mental Health Counsleing (M.A.)

Accredited: Eight-Year Period through October 31, 2025

School Counseling (M.S.)

Accredited: Eight-Year Period through October 31, 2025

The Board based the above accreditation decisions on an extensive review of the self-study documents, the visiting team’s report, and the institutions response to the visiting team's report.
