Beverly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by Penn State University and a Licensed Behavior Specialist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

She is Operations Director of New Story, a private company that provides mental health and special education services to children across the state of Pennsylvania. As Operations Director, she is responsible for providing general oversight of clinical programs within the region. Specifically, the Operations Director assists in maintaining compliance with state regulations and aids in the development of new policies and procedures throughout the agency.

Dr. McNamara is recipient of the 2014 Melvin Medal for Excellence in Scholarly Investigation presented by Marywood University during commencement activities in May.
