Kathleen Q. Whitney, Physician Assistant-Certified, is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, and is a Distinguished Military Graduate from the Army Reserve Officer Training Program. Mrs. Whitney, served on Active Duty with the US Army in Korea as well several overseas deployments including Panama, Jordan and Iraq. Mrs. Whitney currently serves as a Captain in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as a Physician Assistant. Mrs. Whitney military service is distinguished, she is Airborne qualified and the recipient of various awards and commendations including the prestigious McArthur Leadership Award - an honor reserved for the best junior officers in the US Army. After serving on active duty, Mrs. Whitney was employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from 1991-1997, earning the Pinnacle award for outstanding sales achievement. Following 12 years of homeschooling her 4 children, Mrs. Whitney earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in 2013, earning the Clinical Excellence Award. She went on practice in orthopedic surgery, primary care and emergency medicine, prior to joining the Marywood PA program in May, 2017 as Principal Faculty. Mrs. Whitney continues to practice Emergency Medicine part-time, and resides in Covington Township with her husband Judah, and their family.
