David Majiros, MS, PA-C, Captain (USAF Ret)
Dave was born and raised in Nanticoke, PA. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1971 as a Medical Services Specialist (Medic). He served as an Independent Duty Medical Technician in the Aleutian Islands prior to attending the US Air Force Physician Assistant School at Sheppard AFB, TX (1980) and USAF Academy, CO (1981).
He graduated from the University of Oklahoma as a Physician Associate in 1982 and received a Master of Science Degree in Sports Medicine from Chapman University (Colorado Springs campus) in 1986. Following assignments in Colorado and New York, he retired from the US Air Force as a Captain in 1991.
He has practiced as a Physician Assistant in Family Practice and Orthopaedics/Sports Medicine in the Finger Lakes region of upstate NY and in southwestern PA. He became a Physician Assistant educator in 2008 as an Assistant Professor, Academic Coordinator, and Clinical Coordinator at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. He has continued as a contract lecturer at national PANCE/PANRE review courses since 2011, and as an Adjunct Faculty member at Seton Hill University.
His appointment at Marywood University began in May 2019. He lives in Pocono Lake, PA with his wife Kelli and enjoys fishing, hiking, and biking in his free time. He is a member of AAPA, PSPA, and PAOS (Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery).
