Transitions - Transfer Orientation

Dear Transfer Student:

As the days draw closer for your new journey to begin at Marywood University, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that we have been preparing a great deal to aid in your adjustment to Marywood University by inviting you to our mandatory spring orientation.  

The "Transitions Program" will begin on Friday, January 9, 2012 beginning at 12:30 PM in the Swartz Center for Spiritual Life, Conference Room B. The day will consist of interacting with Marywood faculty and staff, presentations from various campus offices, and group sessions with other incoming students.  You will be able to get your Marywood ID, receive information on email services, and learn about all the other opportunities available as a Marywood University student. In addition, campus offices will be open during the day in order for you to visit or take care of any University business. 

Transfer students will also be given the schedule for Fall Welcome, our Fall Orientation program that is full of social programs both on and off campus for all of our new incoming students.  This program is open to all incoming students, both freshmen and transfers and begins at 7pm August 19th.  The Transitions Program is the perfect time to become acquainted with the University, meet new and current students, as well as faculty and staff. Complimentary lunch will also be served for students and their guests. 

Please E-mail your information to the Center for Student Activities and Leadership Development at orientation@marywood.edu stating whether or not you will be attending the Transitions Program by January 2, 2012.
