Athletics/Recreation Information will be provided regarding NCAA Division III sports, intramurals, activity clubs, club sports and the athletic and recreation outdoor and indoor facilities, including the Mellow Center for Athletics and Wellness. Some coaches will be available to meet informally with students, parents, and guests.
Campus Ministry/Collegiate Volunteers Campus Ministry staff will present an overview of activities and opportunities available for worship, spiritual development, retreats, social justice and service.
Career Services This session will provide information about the career development services available starting in the freshman year. Whether a student has a specific career path in mind or is still exploring options, resources are available to help plan for the future. Timelines for success, campus workshops, internships, career counseling, job search and other tools available will be discussed.
Computer Information Information will be provided regarding the residence hall network, equipment needed to hook up to the network, virus protection and how to protect yourself while using the Internet. We will also focus on the conditions of computer use policy outlined in The Student Handbook regarding the use of Marywood network.
Counseling and Student Development Center Members of the Counseling Center Staff will be available to discuss services provided by the center, including individual counseling, consultation, crisis intervention and referrals for other services such as psychiatric evaluations. In addition, the Counseling Center staff will offer suggestions on how to transfer counseling services from home to Marywood. Appointments may be scheduled in advance by calling (570) 348-6245 or arrangements can be made when you arrive on campus for orientation.
Financial Planning Staff from the Financial Aid and Student Accounts Offices will present information on the process of “taking care of business.”
Honors Program This session will provide information about the Honors Program, its requirements and advantages, the Undergraduate Student Research Program, scholarships and prestigious study abroad fellowships available to students who excel academically.
Learning Resources Center Know where to continue your expedition to find timely, reliable, and accurate information for your papers and presentations. Visiting the library starts you on the right path.
Student Health Services The Student Health Services staff will be available to provide an overview of the primary care services provided and to answer questions regarding vaccine-preventable diseases, including meningitis vaccine mandates, and the related requirements to utilize the Health Services Center. The health form and polices will also be discussed.

Student Support Services/Tutoring Programs and Disability Services The focus of the session is to encourage students to get off to a great start through early tutoring, writing assistance, and advice on being a successful student from the first day of classes through graduation. This session also will provide an overview of services available for students with disabilities and review important policies and procedures.
Study Abroad Study Abroad offers a wonderful opportunity for students to explore different cultures and meet students from around the world while they continue their education.
