Marywood University NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION 2008

TRANSITIONS

Welcome Transfer Students!

As the days draw closer for your new journey to begin at Marywood University, I would like to tke this opportunity to tell you that we have been preparing a great deal to aid in you adjustment to Marywood University through the Transitions Program. My name is Leslie Sikora, and I am the Chair of this program. I would like to share with you what you can expect at Transitions in August. The mandatory Transitions Program will allow you to ask current Marywood students any questions, take tours of the University, as well as receive your Student Identification Cards. A welcome from your Orientation Chairs will begin the afternoon, followed by a Student Life Informational Fair, to introduce you to what Marywood has to offer. This will give you the opportunity to become acquainted with the University. I strongly encourage you to attend and fully participate in this program; however, if you are unable to attend the program, you may participate in the on-line program by clicking the link below.

Once you have completed the Transistions Program, you will then be required to take the Knowledge Check. There will be specific directions on the link as to how to send in your responses.

Offices on campus will be open during the day to take care of any University business. Furthermore, you may purchase a campus parking permit online by clicking the link below.

PARKING PERMIT
(You will need you student identification number and pin number. The cost of a parking permit is $25 for the semester.)

The Transitions Program is the perfect time to become acquainted with the University and meet new and current students. If you are planning to live on-campus in the spring, please contact the Housing and Residence Life Office immediately at

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact University Staff or myself at 570-340-6016 or orientation@m.marywood.edu. I look forward to meeting you in August!

Sincerely,
