"The same methodical approach that helped me use missionary letters to gain insight into Korean history for my thesis also proved to be the key to unlock the bigger picture of each. Had I not been able to work on an extensive research project as an undergraduate, not only would I have lacked the skills to complete such projects, but I would have lacked the confidence to even start them. In that sense, my thesis was perhaps the most important and enduring element of my entire university career."
Class of 2007The Office of Research and Sponsored Program, under the direction of Assistant Vice President for Research, Dr. Maria Montoro Edwards, oversees grants and contracts (sponsored programs) initiated or managed by faculty and students at Marywood.
ORSP is responsible for oversight, compliance management, and the appropriate conduct of sponsored activities on behalf of the principal investigator or project director. Marywood maintains a centralized, coordinated approach to the review, clearance, approval, submission, and management of all sponsored programs.
