Gmail
This workshop introduces the participant to Gmail, Google's free webmail service. Topics that will be covered include reading and composing messages, attaching and opening files, creating and sending messages to contacts and groups, using labels (folders), and creating signatures.
Gmail Calendar
This workshop showcases the Gmail calendar--how to view and add events including repeating events, how to set reminders, and how to share a calendar--as well as how to keep personal events private.
Google Docs
This workshop showcases Google Apps’ documents feature. Uploading different types of files to Google Docs, working on these files, and sharing them will be covered.
Google Sites
Google Sites is an online application used to create and share your own web site--no HTML knowledge required. You will learn the basics of how to create, edit and manage your own site template including using 4 different types of page templates. Also shown will be how to use pre-installed templates.
Google Survey
Create and edit a survey utilizing different types of questions including text, multiple choice, scale, dropdown, checkboxes and grid. Email a link to the survey and sit back while Google automatically collects the responses through a connected Google Docs spreadsheet.
