Academic Computing Services

Academic Computing advises and assists faculty in the use of instructional technology for the creation, organization, analysis, and presentation of scholarly, scientific, and curricular resources.  Specifically, Academic Computing:

• Provides consultation services to faculty and staff on the utilization of technology for learning by integrating academic and instructional needs into the strategic and tactical planning process
• Advises faculty regarding trends in instructional technology
• Assesses course management system support and use and maximizes effectiveness within the existing resources
• Provides faculty and staff with graphical media services to enhance their instructional project (with the appropriate training in the utilization of technology to fit project needs)

Academic Computing provides services for interactive videoconferencing and Moodle courses. These services include, but are not limited to:

• Site certification
• Site location
• Poster Printing
• Camera operation
• Moodle tutorials
• Electronic Bulletin Board Advertisement
• Assistance with e-pack course materials
• Assistance with Power Point presentations
• Equipment training
• Video streaming
• Lessons on CD
• Photostory Training
