Nutrition & Dietetics: Family & Consumer Sciences Post-Baccalaureate Program

Overview

If you already hold an undergraduate degree in another discipline, you can apply to the post-baccalaureate certification program in Family and Consumer Sciences. This program offers undergraduate credits but is offered as a graduate program.

This program results in certification to teach family and consumer sciences in K-12 in Pennsylvania. This program does not result in a graduate degree.

In order for credits to be transferred to Marywood from other accredited colleges and universities, the course must be college-level, and a minimum grade of C is required (A grade of C- is not transferable.) Transferable courses must be equivalent to courses offered at Marywood and appropriate to meet degree requirements in a student's major. Credits older than 20 years may be approved for transfer if it is determined that the course content is still relevant.
