Stephanie Minkoff, MHSA, RDN, LDNDirector, Dietetic Internship/Assistant Professor of Practice
Stephanie is a dietitian with twenty+ years of experience in long term care prior to transitioning into a role Senior Project Manager of Learning and Organizational Development. She has been a Food Service Director, Human Resources professional, US Army veteran and a corporate trainer. Stephanie brings a wealth of experience from her diverse background, first hand observations in many different communities, and has provided organizational development solutions to numerous audiences.
She has extensive experience opening new business for contract management companies. Her role was to acclimate more than sixty managers through the transition and advise on the implementation of their Food and Physical Safety program in preparation for National Safety Foundation standards and inspections. She also trained more than 2000 frontline associates on Sodexo’s Focus On Service Sprit (FOSS) and C.A.R.E.S Customer Service Training Programs. This led to her developing and delivering a Train the Trainer (TTT) program in forty-five locations spanning nine states, so managers could enhance their training skills and facilitate the program at their locations for sustainability.
While in her most recent role Stephanie was instrumental in the successful roll-out of the Silverchair/Relias Learning Management System at the Asbury corporate office in Germantown, MD. Her next project was the Resilient Leadership (RL) initiative where she developed and delivered a highly interactive TTT for the Resilient Leadership mentors in Tennessee. She has also facilitated the delivery of the RL training throughout four states in over seventy learning opportunities. She was certified in multiple Sodexo Diversity Learning Labs and has delivered more than 50 sessions across the country. Her primary passion is around diversity in terms of inclusion and actively seeks to understand different perspectives.
Stephanie has a keen perspective of making adult learning engaging, insightful and relevant in order to produce positive results. Her customer focus ensures expectations are met for all the stakeholders she serves. Stephanie is constantly engrossed in gaining new skills as a lifelong learner herself. In addition to her life experiences Stephanie, draws on her education which includes a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Nutrition and a Masters in Health Services Administration with a concentration in Long Term Care. She is a certified Achieve Global trainer, DiSC Workplace profile facilitator, a ServSafe Food Safety instructor, a trained chef, and is a Distinguished Toasmaster.
Stephanie is happy to be joining the staff at Marywood University to help guide future nutrition professionals on their journey to becoming registered dietitians.
