Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Awards Grant to Prevent Underage Drinking Fri, July 17, 2009 Marywood University was awarded a $11,350 grant from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board to continue to support initiatives aimed at preventing underage drinking. Marywood was one of the 73 community, education, and law enforcement groups to receive the grant.

Women's Soccer Team Donate Uniforms to Guatemalan School Wed, June 10, 2009 The 2008 CSAC Champion and NCAA Tournament Qualifiers Marywood University Women’s Soccer Team recently donated old uniforms to a school in Guatemala through the help of Javier Diaz, a Resident Director at Marywood. Diaz went on a service trip in late May facilitated through Marywood's Campus Ministry to deliver the uniforms.
