WVIA-FM to Use Marywood's 91.7 FM Frequency Temporarily
Tue, February 16, 2010Marywood University came to the aid of public broadcaster WVIA 89.9 FM over the weekend when the regional PBS broadcaster's transmitter building burned in an electrical fire on Friday. Marywood's Director of Broadcast Operations, Ernie Mengoni, immediately responded to the PBS broadcaster's troubles by offering the use of the University's broadcast signal, WVMW 91.7 FM, for several hours each day until WVIA can re-organize their radio transmission.
