5K Run, Walk Crawl for International Service Trips

On Sunday, April 15 at 1PM, Marywood will host a 5K run to benefit the International Service Trips to Guatemala and Tanzania in May. The race is open to the public.

Kidstuff - Saturday, March 31 , 1 - 3 p.m. - Sign-up to be a Buddy

Marywood University will be hosting its annual KIDSTUFF mini-carnival for children between the ages of 4 and 8 from the Scranton area on March 31st, 2012 from approximately 1-3 PM in the Nazareth Student Center. If you are interested in being a buddy, there is a sign-up sheet in Campus Ministry, Swartz Center for Spiritual Life.

Despite E-readers, Book Swap Remains a Popular Tradition

Marywood's biennial book swap continues to draw a crowd, despite the growing popularity of e-readers. The next book swap will be held Tuesday, March 27.

Passion Play - Palm Sunday, April 1, 1:30 p.m. - Marian Chapel

Come to see the Passion Play, the story of Christ's ministry and death. Featuring music from "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Godspell". Palm Sunday, April 1, 1:30 p.m. in the Marian Chapel, Swartz Center for Spiritual Life. Free to the Marywood Community and the Public.

Distinguished Dissertation

Education professor Kerri Tobin has received an award from the American Educational Research Association for her dissertation on best practices for teaching homeless students.
