August Mass Schedule in Marian Chapel

There will be no Sunday Masses in the Marian Chapel for the next two Sundays, August 12 and 19. Our regular Sunday schedule will resume on August 26. There will be no weekday Masses during the month of August with the exception of the Solemnity of the Assumption, August 15. Mass for this holy day of obligation will be celebrated in the Marian Chapel at 12:05 p.m. The schedule below lists other options on campus and in nearby parishes. MASSES IN THE MARIAN CHAPEL DURING AUGUST NO SUNDAY MASSES ON AUGUST 5, 12, and 19. MASS AT 10:30 A.M. and 7:30 P.M. WILL RESUME ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 26. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, MASS at 12:05 P.M. SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION (HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION) SUNDAY MASSES IN THE VICINITY You are welcome to attend Sunday Mass at any of the following: IHM Center – (at the end of University Ave.) 9 A.M. Our Lady of Peace Residence (University Ave. across from Fricchione Day Care Center) 11 A.M. St. Clare Church (Corner of North Washington Ave. and Park Street) 4 P.M. Saturday St. Paul Church (1510 Penn Avenue, Scranton) (4:30 P.M., Sat.), 8:00, 10:00 A.M., 12:00 noon St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church (322 Chestnut St., Dunmore) (4:00, 5:30 P.M. Students and Staff Reflect on Their Service Trip to Guatemala

In May, nine undergraduate students and three staff members spent a week in San Lucas, Guatemala. There, they assisted the indigenous population with reforestation programs, education initiatives, and other projects.
