The October 2010 edition of the Journal of Traumatic Stress is publishing the results of a study of diagnosis of trauma in the lives of at risk youth in northeastern Pennsylvania. This study, "Underdiagnosis of posttraumatic stress disorder in at risk youth," was authored by Mr. Drew Miele and Dr. Edward O'Brien. The Marywood University Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Nathaniel F. Parker, will present their final performance of the 2009-2010 season on Sunday, April 25, at 4p.m. in the Holy Family Residence Auditorium (2500 Adams Ave.). The concert is open to the public and admission is free. The program will feature classical and pops favorites in the style of the BBC Proms concerts. The program includes Schubert's "Unfinished" Symphony, Sibelius's tone poem Finlandia, and celebrated works from the American musical theater repertoire, such as Bernstein's West Side Story, Willson's The Music Man, and a medley of songs by Irving Berlin.
