Constitution Day Trivia Event
Published on Tue, September 12, 2017
The University’s social sciences department, in conjunction with the history society, will be host a Constitution Day themed trivia night on Monday, September 18, 2017, from 8:30–10:30 p.m., in the Nazareth Student Center, Upper Main Dining Room. Students will be grouped in teams of three, but there is no requirement to have a team in place prior to the event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by 39 brave men on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who are born in the U.S. or who have become citizens by naturalization.
The event will also feature an opportunity to register to vote and to contact local representatives about political issues. For additional information about the University’s Constitution Day event, please contact Dr. Adam Shprintzen, assistant professor in the social sciences department at Marywood University, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call (570) 348-6288.
