What do West Virginia, Missouri, Philadelphia and Honduras have in common?
Answer: students from Marywood University will travel to these locations, working to empower communities through disaster relief, house restoration and tutoring. Forty-five volunteers, composed of students, faculty and staff, have been busy fundraising for months.
One of these students, Jessica Manning, a junior majoring in art education, will be going to West Virginia to aid in several Habitat for Humanity projects.
"I love learning about new people and places," Manning said. "It's really exciting."
