On Monday, March 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Marywood will host the 11th Annual Forum and Conference on Ethical Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility, "Out-behaving Your Competition." The conference, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the Latour Room, Nazareth Student Center.

At 7 p.m., there will be a keynote address by Attorney Jane Carlonas of Oliver, Price & Rhodes, followed by a Q & A and a networking reception.

Gale Jaeger, Ed.D., program coordinator, who has organized the conference since its inception in 2002, believes that it is important to highlight the many prominent international and local businesses that conduct themselves in an admirable way.

"The point of hosting this conference is to show our students and the public that there are ethical leaders throughout the business community," Dr. Jaeger said. "I hope people can leave this conference with a less cynical attitude toward business."

Among the companies and institutions that will be represented are Oliver, Price & Rhodes; Prudential; King's College; Marywood University; and Catholic Relief Services.

This year's conference is sponsored by Prudential Financial, OnePoint, and Penn Security Bank & Trust.
