Fall Convocation

Published on Mon, September 29, 2008

This year's Convocation will highlight human rights awareness and feature the play "Speak Truth to Power" by Ariel Dorfman.  The performance is spoken through the voices of human rights activists from around the world.

Robing for the Academic Procession will be held off the Rotunda in classrooms LAC 115, 116, 117, and 118.  Signs and procession lists will be posted in this hallway.  Those faculty members and administrators planning to participate in the academic procession should arrive by 1:35 p.m. to robe.  The procession starts promptly at 1:50 p.m.

Following the Convocation, we will honor the memory of Marywood's former Trustee and Benefactor, Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan with the dedication of the McGowan Community Room (formerly Conference Room A of the Swartz Center for Spiritual Life) at 4:00 p.m.  A reception will immediately follow the dedication in the Swartz Center's Conference Center.
