There will be two Fall Break Service Trips; one doing Flood Recovery right here in Northeastern PA and one at Holy Family Residence, Scranton, PA.
The Office of Service-Learning and Community Service is pleased to announce the options for the 2011 Fall Break Service Trips. Students will be selected to participate in a trip that will take place during Fall Break, October 14-18. The program is open to all currently enrolled Marywood University students. Participant applications are due in the Campus Ministry Department (Swartz Center) by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011. Electronic submissions are preferred. Late applications will not be accepted.
Participating in a Fall Break Service Trip includes paying a non-refundable $20.00 deposit (due at the first organizational meeting for the trip), participating in pre-trip preparation and a post-trip follow-up session.
All applicants will be contacted via e-mail. by September 30, 2011 with results of the selection process and further information about the first organizational meeting for selected participants.
