Senior Exhibition 2011

Marywood University Art Department and Galleries will present Senior Exhibition 2011 from April 2 - 17 in the Mahady Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts. The exhibit will feature the artwork of 74 graduating students. (Other examples of the students' artwork and portfolios will be on display throughout the various studios and exhibition areas in the Shields Center.)  

An opening reception will be held on April 2 from 2-5 p.m. Doug Smith Jazz Quartet will be providing musical accompaniment to complement the opening reception. The reception is free and open to the public.

The undergraduate group exhibition presents work in the concentrated studies of art education, art therapy, ceramics, graphic design, illustration, painting, and photography. A closure experience for graduating art majors, participation in the group exhibition at Marywood University is an art department requirement. Students will be receiving a bachelor of fine arts (BFA) or bachelor of arts (BA) degree, depending on their area of study.
