Students from Marywood University's School of Architecture and Interior Architecture will showcase an art installation celebrating architecture and literature at Shopland Hall, Scranton Cultural Center, as part of the Pages and Places Book Festival. The installation will be on display Saturday, October 2 from 2 - 5 p.m.
The students were invited to investigate the correlations between literary art and architecture using recycled or found objects. The design is based on the venues' theme "Author's of Argument".
The installation was coordinated by Michael Muller, an architect with DxDempsey, Maria Macdonald, Director of the Interior Architecture/Design Program at Marywood University, and Joseph Gluba, Assistant Professor of Architecture/Design at Marywood University.
